  *Average length of New Patient appointment: 3 HRS
Established patients: Exam/Mammogram or Exam only = Time based on patients needs.
 
New patient paperwork
Triage, Medical History intake,vital signs
Consult and breast exam by doctor
Review films with doctor
Mammogram if needed
Ultrasound if needed
Biopsy if needed- mammogram after biopsy (clip film)
MRI/Surgery scheduling if needed
 

   Office Rules:
Absolutely no food or drinks allowed in SCBS office - OSHA regulation. Other patients in our office are undergoing chemotherapy, some have nausea. They do not want to be around food aromas. Refreshments/coffee are provided on the Imaging side (The Women's Center). They are not to be brought over to SCBS side. No Smoking allowed in building Restrict cell phone usage in our waiting rooms. The person next to you might have received a bad news of cancer. Having social or business conversations in waiting rooms can be very upsetting to other patients or family members. Do not put feet on furniture. Do not bring children to appointment. They cannot be expose to the mammogram machines. They are not allowed in the ultrasound/biopsy rooms. We cannot be responsible for watching children. Please reschedule appointment if you need to find childcare. Family members and support members encouraged to come to your appointment. No family members will be allowed in the biopsy/ procedure room. We have sterile set ups in these rooms. The only exception is if the patient is under age, Mom can be in room, special needs patients, elderly patients, confused patients. There are exceptions based on individual needs. Snow days - The office is closed if Henry County Schools are closed.
