 Cindy Matthews Advanced Breast Care Nurse Practitioner comes to us from Advanced Breast Care of Georgia where she has been in practice 16 years. She worked collaboratively with Dr. Richard Fine for many years. Her decision to work within the breast specialty field was due in part to the influence of the many patients she cared for while working at Kennestone Wellstar Hospital. Cindy has had the opportunity to participate in many community events to promote breast cancer awareness. She is a member of various national organizations and stays current on the most recent advances in breast cancer. Cindy lectures at Georgia State University in the Masters Program and has edited a chapter on Breast Health and Breast Cancer in Mosby's most recent undergraduate nursing textbook "Medical/Surgical Nursing." Cindy is excited to join the SCBS team and is accepting new patients.
